I just wanted to share a rave before I go to the review section like I don't do enough......:eusa_naughty:.

If anyone has access to a LUSH store www.lush.com (based in Poole, England) you might want to try their FRESH FACIAL MASKS. They make these daily with fresh ingredients such as chocolate, avocados, lemon juice, etc.

I tried the chocolate one called Brownie even though it said for acne prone skin and my skin felt fantastic afterwards. I also got the Crash Course for Skin Care made with avocados and lemon juice.

While their other products have alcohol and other ingredients, their masks are fairly pure (not 100%);and while they seem pricey, they do last a long time..and it is a wonderful feeling to go into the fridge and pull out a "fresh homemade facial" twice a week. LOL. I'm a dork.

I also bought the Ultra Bland makeup remover that Angelina Jolie supposedly uses...It was good, not great, but ok. but one of the ingredients-beeswax or gylcerine-my skin didn't really like.

Well, I really like these masks so I just thought I'd share my

experience.:roflmao:

I'm a huge Lush fan, almost everything I buy skincare and body/bath wise is from there, but the fresh masks really did impress me! :icon_bigg I was never a believer in masks, none of the usual skincare lines did much for me, until i tried Cupcake (the uk equivalent to brownie i'm assuming) really helped calm my skin, the first time i ever saw a difference after using a mask. I also use cosmetic warriorr to help with the spots too! Can't reccomend Lush enough :worship:

Also, I use ultrabland too, I find it works better if you rub it over your face, then remove with a cloth dampened with hot water, not cold! Then followed with a cleanser or toner, hopefully that might help it become 'great' for you Elisabeth!

They have an expration date of around a month, but if kept in the refridgerator, can last much longer :icon_bigg

Thanks for sharing Elisabeth! I want SO BAD to try a Biofresh Lush mask! But my nearest Lush shop is an hour away. I never have time to travel! So I rely on mail order for my Lushly goodness...and the Biofresh masks are not available by mail!!! Grrr... I am desperate to try them so perhaps I will suck it up and find time one of these weekends to drive to Portland and visit a Lush shop!

I bought mine last week and they have expiry dates just like milk.

Mine say good until 4-28-06.....so I am using these puppies fast!

If you do go for these, Erica, jennifer and everybody else.....I would def. get the smallest amount possible. I mean that's what I did..and I have been *maskin'* like crazy and still have A LOT of product left, so the spoilage factor is a good point..and I'm going to have to see how fast these suckers go "off"..I let you know!:icon_wink

I spent and hour on the Lush website. There are so many products I want to try, I couldn't make up my mind what to order! I wish the prices were a little lower. I only saw one mask listed. The fresh masks must only be sold in their stores :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

the mask are good i have only try some soaps like i wash the kids and snowfestival but i will buy some mask for sure

They recommend to use the masks within three weeks but it seems a little hard to use them that quickly. Has anyone used them beyond the three weeks and had any problems? I have a sample of cosmetic warrior that I got a little over a month ago and I don't know if I should use it.

oooh thanks!!! I wanna go out and try their masks, I used to always ignore LUSH 'cause they're everywhere in Canada

but I heard about their blueberry mask? am i making that up or? anyone tried that before?
