Well, Bath and Body works lotion smells pretty ;D So I was wondering if it was okay to put just a little lotion on ur hair ;3. If you think it's bad can you tell me the reason please?

I use scented oils instead of perfumes and I always rub a little in my hand and then lightly rub a tiny bit into my hair because I like to smell good when people hug me.  Unless you use an excessive amount, I don't think it would do much other then add a little more oil to your hair.

The ingredients in some lotions are almost the same as in some hair care products however using too much can leave your hair looking greasy and weighed down. If you like the scent of your lotion then get a matching body mist and spritz the air over your head and allow it to "rain down" on you that way you're not drying your hair out with too much alcohol or have greasy hair from the silicone products but you'll still have .

I've actually never heard of anyone doing this.  It seems like it would leave you looking greasy.  I would opt for the body spray and spray it in your hair

I don't like... get a fingerful and put it all over my head LOL! I just get a tiny tiny tinnnyy bit.

I've tried using lotion as a styling product once because I ran out of gel :/

It either leaves your hair greasy and stringy and it glues your hair together and gets kinda crunchy when it is dried.  The smell will eventually dissipate but you are still left with stringy hair.  The spray would be similar to spraying perfume in your hair.  The scent will last longer from a spray.

I think that in a pinch, it would be ok.

I tend to agree that the formulations might be a bit heavy for hair.

But if you're out and about and your hair is acting frizzy or fly away, then why not.

If you put it on the underside of your hair, just at the top of your neck, you should be fine.  No one's gonna see if it.  When you move your hair, if there is scent left, you can catch the scent.

if you are looking for something to moisturize/keep your hair soft, check this out: keeps it soft and untangled.

If you are looking  for a hair lotion, I recommend hair cuticle. Unlike hair lotions, it is not harsh for your hair and wont weigh your hair down plus equipped with hair vitamins.

I wouldn't use lotion as a hair product unless you were in a pinch.

I have used excess lotion from my hands in my hair, but it tends to make your hair greasy/oily looking. If you want to use a little bit of lotionj to tame flyaways then there is nothing wrong with it, it won't damage or harm your hair.
