hey there. i have very dry skin and dislike putting on lotions because it makes my skin feel oily and ikky for the first several minutes. is there any recommendations on lotions that i can use?

Hhmm....one that was recommended to me by a derm. is Eucerin. Problem is it does go on kinda greasy if I remember correctly. But, it works really well. The hemp products from the Body Shop work really well also and don't go on greasy. You'd just have to like the smell of Patchouli. lol....

Lubriderm* Nature’s Moisture Therapy this is the best I have used. It leaves my skin so very soft, and it is not greasy one bit.

My roomie uses origins Matte Scientist and I tried it once (i have dry skin); it definately absorbs oil because my face was so tight after the first 5 minutes wearing it, lol. I would recommend

Whatever lotion you use (I recommend any by Avalon Organics) put it on right after you step out of the shower. Then you can buff away with your towel any residue that might be over.

edit: have you looked into using a lotion made for babies?

I adore Elle MacPherson's 'The Body' Nourishing Honey Butter :

Boots.com - Shop -- Body moisturisers

It makes my very dry, scaly skin, baby bum smooth and the smell is divine- better than any perfume I've found!

Theres also a light day cream available, thats the same but a lighter lotion and a firming body lotion to keep skin young and supple!

I agree with Kathy. I have been searching forever and the best I have found is Eucerin.
