In your 20's- The most important thing is keeping breakouts at bay. For many people the 20's is a time when acne will first appear. Stop breakouts by using a salicylic treatment that should be applied under your moisturizer. Wear sunscreen daily, this is the time in life when most sun damage occurs. Prevention is key!
I recommend- Nuetrogena Anti-Stress Acne Hydrating Gel. It treats my skin without causing dryness and irritation. I really like the Borba Pomegranate Sunscreen. It also contains ingredients to fight acne.
In your 30's- Don't hop around to different products. Your skin will suffer from irritation that can lead to fine lines. Stick with products for at least 6 months to see results. All skin types can use a moisturiozer with Green Tea or Vitamin C, these will nuetralize the free-radicals that cause wrinkles.
I recommend- Darphin Tangerine Aromatic Care. It is mild, smells great and is good for all Skintypes.
In your 40's- This is that special time when all the damage you incurred in your 20's starts popping up. Yay! Freckling, discolorations and large pores become more prevalent. You need products that increase your cell turnover, minimize the appearance of pores and battle discoloration.
I recommed- Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Refinisher. Mild for sensitive skin types. This is also a good time to use Retin-A products.
In your 50's- Anti-oxidants, Peptides and Retinols...Oh MY! Fighting wrinkles and fine lines has become hi-tech business. Skin renewing products like L'Oreal Skin Genesis claim to actually slow the aging proscess. The key is to keep skin hydrated and smooth!
I recommend- L'Oreal Skin Genesis Line..gentle and using the newest technology.
In your 60's- Maximize your moisture!! Hormone levels are decreasing and oil production is nearly non-existent. As a result of the hormone levels Women in this category battle severe dryness and flakiness.
I recommend- Olay Regenerist Line. Super rich creams with Hyaularonic Acid to grab moisture from the air and pull it to the skin. The moisture binding ingredients will also plump up lines.
In your 70's- Deep Wrinkles may have appeared as well as brown spots. Use products that target these issues as well as deliver moisture.
I recommend- Nuetrogena Deep Wrinkle Intense Moisturizer.
