Ok, so he is 14, and is hitting puberty. He doesnt have bad acne or anything, but he does have the occasional pimple. I am looking for a drugstore brand that doesnt dry out his skin. He has used Clean and Clear, and is currently using Olay Clarity. Right now he is complaining that the Olay is leaving his face feeling dry.

Is there any skincare line that anyone could recommend trying? His skin is a little sensitive too just to add.

Thanks everyone for your help!

try olay moisturizing cleansing cloths as it never left my face dry and i have major dry skin, ponds pristine clean is for sensitive skin , but this one does dry my face a lil. the best advice thou would be too look for very lil soap and alcohol in products if he has dry skin or he could keep using what he has and just getting a very good moisturizer!HTH

I've used Neutrogena, Clean and Clear, Clearasil, and probably a couple others. All of them dried out my skin, and the only one that didn't is Biore. I used to use the warming anti-blackhead cleanser, pore refining scrub (I kind of forget the name), cleansing cloths, and oil-free moisturizer, but now I only need to use the warming anti-blackhead cleanser. I definately recommend all their products.

Thanks everyone so far for your advice. This weekend I will probably go out and buy him some products (he is embarrassed to buy face care). I'll for sure get him the warming anti-blackhead cleanser, because those are one if his biggest concerns. I have even gotton him to do those biore pore strips!

My brother is 14, he uses oxy (bought from the states 'cause they carry a higher % of benzoyl peroxide in their oxy stuff then here in canada)

My mom purchased some Nature's Cure for my 15 yr old brother. His face is really clearing up, he said it's not irritating or anything. He uses cetaphil moisturizer morning and night.
