I agree to a certain extent that the OLAY range is quite popular among more mature women. The problem with the Oil of Olay and other Olay products is that they are not rigorously tested for allergies and reactions. As a result, if you have sensitive skin or dry skin, you will find Olay products may react to your skin.
However, in my experience, the
SHISEIDO Skin Care range is superior in quality. They are heavily allergy tested and are usually oil-free and non-comodegenic (meaning it won't clog up the pores).
For the eyes, I would recommend the Shiseido
Skin Care Eye Moisture Recharge. It is very high in moisture and works significantly by reducing the onset of fine lines and puffiness. A little goes a long way and all you need is a pinhead size drop of the product for both eyes. By ensuring there is sufficient moisture, the eyes can look healthy and less wrinkled. It will also prevent the onset of further lines around the eyes.
Remember, healthy eyes and surrounding skin draws away from the rest of the face and makes you look healthier and younger!
As the "anti-wrinkle" cream, I would recommend the Shiseido
Skin Care Benefiance range. Under this line, you've got two products:
WrinkleResits24 and
NutriPerfect. There are heaps of other products under this range and it's important you consult the Shiseido salesperson to identify the product best suited to your needs and condition.
At every age, the 1,2,3 skin care regime (cleanse, tone/balance and moisturiser) should be considered. Talk to your dermatologist about this as cleaner skin with less impurities can slow the onset of aging and wrinkles.
Although Shiseido is my first recommendation,
LANCOME and
CLINIQUE are also well known for their effective anti-aging solutions. It is best to try a few of the products as testers before buying one. If budget is a concern, Lancome and Clinique would be a better solution since Shiseido can be very costly!
Good luck
