Hi, I have a WHITE upper lip (I'm Caucasian), and the same (though smaller) on my bottom lip. Basically a slightly assymetrical white "halo" around my lips. i thought maybe it's because I don't use my AHAs there (cause they taste retched) or that it's because I am always slathering on SPF15 lipbalm, and it bleeds, but I experimented with A) putting AHA on my upper lip and B) wearing SPF 30 religiously all over my face. I went to the doctor (GP) and he said it wasn't vertiglio (sorry not sure of spelling, but the Michael Jackson skin diesease). Any one else heard of this/experienced this/got any advice? Thanks!

Not sure what might've caused it, but if you're concerned about how it looks, have you tried putting foundation around the area so it blends in with the rest of your face? hth

I honestly have no idea what could cause that. I really can't think of any advice except using foundation/lip color to mask it if it really bothers you.

He said what it's not.....what bout what it is?

Find yourself another doc/derm.
