Hey Girls...thought this might be a fun thread with the spring on her way!

How many of you are actively using a sunscreen as part of your daily skin care regime?

Is it chemically based? What is the SPF? :policeman:

I switch between Ronda Allison and using about 2 layers of Mineral makeup and the tinted boosters from who else??? Dermalogica...

I would love to hear what everyone all over the world is using these days!

Love and Laughter to you all!

Angel

I am hoping this will

I've been using Neutrogena Dry-Touch SPF 45 (Avobenzone-based) for years now and I really wanna try something new. I like the fact that it's matte but it provides no moisture whatsoever which makes my mineral MU look patchy and orange. :sleepyhead: I think I should look into a moisturizer with SPF.

When it hits a time that it is going to be sunny all the time I switch to an SPF Moisturizer. I usually use Cetaphil since it won't clog me up!!

I looove my DDF Photo Mat sunscreen SPF 30. I apply it everyday, and it makes my skin matte and beautiful, in addition to having SPF 30 and lots of antioxidants. I dare anyone to find a better sunscreen!

i currently use La Roche Posay Anthelios(fluide extrême). right now it's spf 20, but in summer i'll get the spf 40.

i like it because it's a milky texture, so it really penetrates easily and fast on the skin, without leaving it greasy. it also makes a perfect base before applying foundation.

the trick of course is to put it regularly, especially in summer. i tend to forget that, oups.

I don't wear foundation much at all. When I do, it's usually bare escentuals, but once in awhile I'll mix it up and use one of my vincent longo or make up for ever foundations.

I'm currently using Lancome Absolute Replenishing Cream with SPF 15. I really like it. I always use a foundation with an SPF of at least 15 also. Either BE or Dermacia.

I use Revlon Colorstay foundation and concealor - both have spf.

Since I'm only outside for 1-2 hous a day, I'm getting adequate sun protection.

In the summer, if I happen to be out longer, then I apply a drug store brand sunscreen with an spf of 30.

I use Cetaphil and Aloe Vera. I knowwww you "need" sunscreen every day but I just can't bring myself to do it. In the summer its a different story.

I use a moisturizer with spf 15 year-round, either olay complete or neutrogena healthy skin face lotion.

Way Cool!!!

one of my clients came in today and we got into a conversation about UV lights in the office space and places where we shop or go to on a consistent basis.

I like the idea of having it in my foundation, too.

For those ladies who cannot use it everyday, there is a company called Color Science and they are superb...At first I had a hard time with the mineral makeup that was not made locally.

Great conversation ladies....

I am using Mentholatum - Acnes spf 50+ pa++. Made in Japen. (for oily skin) It's the sunscreen & also for make up base.

I am currently using Shiseido Sun Protection Lotion SPF 30+ for Face and Body. It is waterproof and makes a perfect make up base too. Love it !

I use a natural sunscreen of spf 15 everyday plus mineral foundation which has spf.

i'm using aveeno skin bright moisturizer with an spf15, and mix that with my posner concealer, also spf15.

I use Olay Complete SPF15, I love it's nice an light and I can mix with an oil in the winter; it actually got me into trying other Olay products.

I use Sunsense Daily Face SPF 60 every day and its suitable for oily, acne prone skin and has an invisble matte, tinted colour so I don't need any make up on top.

I also find that due to its colour (its a strange yellowy colour in the the tube but does disappear on your skin) it covers dark circles under your eyes!
