Anyone here use lemon juice with cucumbers on their face to reduce old marks from past acne? I would like to kjnow whats your experiences with it and how do you do it.

Am i suppose to leave it on for 15 minutes with cucumbers since i heard they both have bleaching agents? Or do i use it as a toner for the entire day and leave it on though it is harsh and stings. i am asian and have sensitive skin. Or do i leave it overnight?

I also drink lemon juice because i want to heal my marks from the inside.. not sure if that helps.

so how do i apply lemon juice on my face? I done it before but didn't really do it for more than 2 days and wasnt sure if i was doing it the right way. Thanks.

I have never heard of doing that. Have you tried to look it up on a search engine?

its on acne.org where you can check the ratings of products. however, nobody says how you specificaly do the lemon juice method so I wwanted to know.

I've never heard of that either, sorry. Hope it works for you though!

i've used lemon juice mixed with honey on my face before and the results were tragic. i mean within minutes my skin was red, itchy almost swollen. lemon is very very irritating. i wouldn't use it if i were you. i've applied cucumber slices on my skin and found them quite irritating too. if you need something to get rid of old acne scars try some AHA and BHA exfoliants. Paula Begoun has some very good info on her site. HTH

I used lemon juice for a while but not cucumber, at first i though it was lightening my marks a bit but i dont think for me it really did anything sept maybe brighten my face a bit and help with my pores. i wouldnt suggest using it a a toner it really drys up and its kinda rough in a way. You could just try it out for a week, apply it on your marks with cotton wool then rinse after 10-20mins and see what you think of it for yourself as everyones skin is different.

i wouldn't apply lemon juice directly on skin.I think it pretty strong for face.U might wnat to dilute with water or best, this i got to know from Indian magazines, a twist of lemon and a tbs of honey and 2 glass of water daily, is good for your overall health and complexion

If you can get some ripe papaya, it has face lightening agents.
