I am going through laser hair removal treatments now. I am happy with the results so far, but I won't really know until I am done and I've only done 4 of the 8 treatments.
If your avitar pic is you, than you may want to think of electrolysis instead. Laser hair removal works best for people with high contrast between skin and hair color - meaning - white skin and black hair.
If you have very dark hair and lighter olive skin then it may work for you - you should use the Candela Yag laser. Google Candela and their website can locate centers that use that laser. There are two good forums for laser hair removal hairtell.com and another one for dark skin - I tried googling it but I couldn't find it. I'm sure if you search around enough you will find it - it is very simple like darkskinlaser.com or something.
