I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and I have ALOT of excess hair. I have it on my face, my arms, even my chest. The ones on my chest are the most embarrassing. I have 2 patches of about 20 hairs. I've been bleaching them but have been trying to find a better option. What would you do? How do you remove excess hair? Thanks so much ladies. This is so embarrassing.

I don't think wanting to know more about hair removal is embarrassing.  I don't have PCOS but I hate body hair in general so I remove as much of it as I can.  I had recently purchased a No! No!.  It has drastically slowed the growth of body hair on my legs and underarms.  I also use it on most of my body except for my face and head.  I had burnt my upper lip with it so I don't want a repeat event.  If you don't want to spend the $300 for it, an epilator is also a good but more painful alternative.  I do have a very high pain tolerance and I find some epilators hurt more than others.  My Remington Smooth/silky hurts way less (painless-almost painless) than my Braun which hurts in more sensitive areas.

Personal laser treatment machines like Tria is also another alternative but it costs even more than the No!No!  If you want professional laser treatments, there are loads of unlimited 1yr laser treatments found in Groupon for around $200.  You can get unlimited lasers for 1 year on 1 to 3 body parts spaced at every 5 wks.

I never liked bleaching because it makes the hairs stand out.
