Lactic Peel

YAY!!! I had my first chemical peel with my dermatologist last friday...which wasn't so bad! it was a refinity peel- 70% but with the neutralizer it felt like a 20 % peel....

but of course with some recommendations from this site.. i got a more gentle peel

I got a lactic peel 40% from MUAC....my question is, how often can i use it??

is this a once a week thing since its so gentle ?? can i use it this friday since i got my other peel a couple of days ago?? i wash with Neutrogena and use a benzoyl peroxide wish from my derm

i'm on minicyline and using tazaroac 3 times a week ( when i remember)- i'm using the cream b/c its more gentle than the gel- which i might stop b/c my skin isn't that bad to begin with...my derm gave me a tube of benzoyl peroxide 8.5% which is really working wonders after 3 days of use...

i know it sounds like alot of stuff, but i gather this is what i would have to do to calm down everything and then i can minimize...but if the peel helps as much as i imagine, imight be able to cut down on some things, of course with my derms permission...

thanks...i'm pretty happy with the results....my friend was loving my skin right after...i was surprised i wasn't red and peeling like ctrazy....

i was dry as heck though

i was just reading the instructions on the subway home and saw it says to use it once or twice a week.... thanks

but i wanted to get a feel from actual people whom used it...

I haven't started my peels yet..if you got just a few days I would wait until next week..but lactic acid is usually very gentle and virtually nonirritating..it'd be safe to use 1-2 times a week.

I was so excited to do my first peel..i couldn't contain myself...lol

I did the patch test the other night, and i got a pimple...

but funny thing.. i got a small break out from my glycolic peel...

maybe its bringing up dirt...i don't know

but whatever it did..my skin looks better..lol

well it looks a heck of a lot better than last week...

BUt i will wait
