Hi,

Anyone who has an experience with la prairie?

How about the foundation?

Is it good for dry and sensitive skin?

I know it is expensive but wanted to know if it was wurth his money?

Or any good alternatives,

I tried Clinique, Helena Rubenstein, Yves saint lauren, and found they where all crap foundations! The gemey and maybeline mouse, not that good for my dry skin.

So I was wondering about la prairie.

thanks,

Sara

I tried La Prairie, and I understood why it was so expensive, and it did a lot for the skin, but I think Sheisedo products are just as good, and for foundation there are a lof to choose from, so it's all about you, and what you are looking for in a foundation...

Have you tried Laura Mercier Moisturizing Foundation? That seems to get great reviews from women with dry skin around here(check out the reviews.)Also,Lancome's Renergie Lifting Foundation is for dry skin and I find it very moisturizing and long wearing, personally, with great coverage.

My mother used to use La Prarie, then she discovered Laura Mercier Moisturizing and hasn't gone back. The price difference she said was the only tangible difference between them.

Oke I will have a look then for Laura Mercier, I hope they sell it in Europe.

But I will find out!

Thank you for the help,

Sara

I had a friend who invested in the line after being charmed by a really good La Prairie sales girl and she used it for several months- some of the products were nice, and luxurious, but she saw no real difference in her skin. Nothing that would justify the price

I have been using La Prarie moisturizers and makeup since I was 30yo and I am now 49. I also get a light peel every couple of monthes and have the past year. My skin is great. I get compliments very often on it.

The La Prarie caviar is the absolute bomb. I put a little squirt and rub it over my face and then apply their foundation, which is the best I have ever used and looks so natural. The caviar gives the skin a glow and a smooth texture and the foundation glides over it. I also user the age management eye cream.

I also use Estea Lauder serum daily and their eye cream too. I have recently been using Olay's reginerast pump cream and I love it! I alternate. I believe in sunscreen and lots of water too.

I am going to check out the Laura Mercier foundation. I love their eye shadows, that is all I use and some Bobby Brown.

La Prarie is expensive and if I could only get one or two of their products right now it would be the caviar and the age management eye cream. Hope this helps some.
