Last year, Chanel announced it was ditching Kate Moss for Keira Knightley as the face of its Coco Mademoiselle fragrance. Keira's ads have just started to run in France, so tell me which model you prefer.

I agree, i like Kate looks more then Kiera's, i dont know if its because of the preconceived idea that she is a model and she is obviously better at posing for her photos, i dont see Kiera being the chanel's fragance face at all..it just doesnt suit her

well, they're both skinny as rails, but I have to say Kate. even though she's shilling for so many other brands out there, she just fits Chanel a bit better.

and I hate to say it, but something about Keira just kinda rubs me the wrong way. she's gorgeous, but not a model....

I much prefer Keira, although I have to say, wtf is with Keira's dress sense?

everyone has different tastes

while i think also that Kiera is waaaay better looking than Kate, i think the advertisement goes better for Kate, for now at least, but i totally agree with you, i dont even remotely think that Kate is pretty at all even lol and you are right about the clothes and hair, awful, not to mention her life that is all over the place, i feel sorry for her actually :S

IMO, they are both overhyped,spoiled little brats.Kate,especially,has been allowed to get away with far too much, with no intention of changing, and give Kiera time:in every interview I've come across with her, she seems a shallow, dishonest, overindulged and petty snob. Of course, most people are capable of change, but I think it is harder for celebrities to change,as their fans/the media actually encourages or at least overlooks questionable to downright reprehensible behaviour.Anyway though,of course I may be totally wrong about them both, but judging from their public personas,I'd say neither is the right face for Chanel, which to me is representative of something classic and elegant, enduring and universally beautiful,fashionable and yet timeless, and graceful and strong. These women are beautiful,but they both--or at least Kate--come with so much distracting/contradictory baggage, that I just don't see how either is appropriate or--esp. in Kate's case--deserving to be the face of the brand.
