I just received the Joesoef Skin Care Anti-Acne kit (only sold on amazon and their own site). Lured into the kit from such great reviews on the allure boards, I decided to give it a try. Has anyone else has experience with this brand?

I promise to update my progress in the next few days. So far, nothing, except I almost feel like I can feel acne starting up on my chin... which probably isn't the best sign, but since this is only the second day, maybe my skin is purging.

I'm on Day 3:

Woke up with a smooth face, all the bumps were smooth, and I was left instead with acne scars. I think this is progress. Still have acne developing on my forehead and chin (I have to remember not to rest my chin on my hands during school!)

Status: So far, so good. Not much irritation, besides slight dryness.

Will update on the progress..

Also, does anyone know whether or not Ethyl Alcohol is bad for skin, its one of the filler ingredients in two of the Anti-Acne Products?

this sounds really interesting....how is this going for you? And, where did you say you saw it? I'm a new member, so for some reason I can't see all of the post that you made. Thanks!!!

Sorry I haven't posted about this in a while.. partly the problem was well, I stopped. My face was getting very dry and flaky (even with moisturizer) and I found that the ethyl alcohol[listed in main ingredients for 2 out of the 4 items] was probably too much and too drying. It did partially clear up my face, but my skin was so flaky that it was hard to tell. After I stopped using it, slowly the dryness went away, but the acne came back. Oh well, I'll keep on looking.

Hi:

I did end up buying the Acne Kit after reading all of the rave reviews. I emailed them for advice on how to use their products, and they asked me a bunch of questions, and also gave me a regimen. They said their products are great for treating acne, but to maintain, you actually have to use less of their produdcts and decrease use of the acne kit. So, before chucking your product, maybe you should try using less? Email them, and they should be able to give you good advice on how to "tweak" (as they called it) your regimen. HTH!!!
