Not wild hair, but I now have the notion to dye my hair. I've thought about it long and hard and I think I will make the leap.

I have extremely dark hair, some people call it black and others say it's almost black. I don't plan on going lighter, but I do want to colour the unpigmented hairs. (I don't like the word grey)

I've heard good things about the Garnier line, but if you have a recommendation I'd be glad to read about it. :glasses:

MY mom has black hair and she uses Clairol Hydrience to color her hair. The color stays well and doesn't fade. Her hair stylist even commented on how natural it looked.

FearlessBunny, thank you for the recommendation. Silly me didn't check on here before heading to the store. I picked up Garnier Fructis in Sweet Cola it's a soft black. I'm debating on whether I want to go put it on now.

Just go ahead and exchange it. I am doing my hair a darker brown on Tuesday. I was going to let my hair stylist dye it as usual, but I do a good enough job myself and I will save $25.00.

I'm way too lazy to go out in the cold to exchange it. I'm sitting here waiting for my sweet cola color to develop. Hopefully it will leave a sweet color change.

I hear you on saving money. $25.00 may not seem like a lot of money, but it is money saved. Let me know how your brown turns out.

my mom uses the garnier color to get rid of her "unpigmented" hairs lol it looks very natural!

let us know how it turns out!

Well I like it. It's a little hard to get used to looking in the mirror and seeing only one color on my head. lol I guess I'll have to get used to it. I do think it makes me look younger and that is a good thing. I wish I had a digital camera so I could upload some pics.

I'm glad it turned out well.

I know what you mean about the one hair color thing (well kinda). I haven't seen my natural hair color in 7 years.

How funny! I got the urge to dye my hair today so I picked up a box! I have pretty dark brown and hair and really all I did was lighten it...but I was happy I did :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I used Clairol Hydrience and my hair feels great!

What color did you pick?

Well I got a lot of compliments on my hair today. My study buddy told me that it made me look 10 years younger. I'll take that as a compliment. One of my bosses about fell over when she saw me because I've been talking about taking the plunge for so long.
