I looooooooooooove aaliyah and her hair!!!!!!!!! she will be missed:icon_cry:

Although i am not a hair stylist i also have curly hair and i actually feel i get better straightening results with the biggest round brush i can find.

i have curly hair but blow it out every week and i use a big round brush and it leaves my hair straight

omigosh thank u ladies soooo much....:clap u r beatiful in everyway:icon_redf ....hey whats a really good brush to use???? or does it matter??

My hair is naturally wavy and I get the best results using a round brush to blow dry it straight. Sometimes I will go over it with a flat iron but usually I can get it smooth drying it with the round brush.

I can't find a picture like mine but this one is very similar to what I use...

That would be a round, vent brush, I believe. I have one of those too but I like my other one better. To each his own.

Yea well i have very curly coarse hair and i feel i can pull it straight better with those types of brushes.

Also if you can't already and want to get your hair to look like aaliyahs i'd recommend the chi flat iron, thats the only way i can get my hair to look like that.

Absolutely!! That's probably the only type of brush that will give you sleek hair if it's naturally curly... I use ones like the one Lil Claude showed... ceramic barreled ones in all different sizes. Those are the only ones I've ever used aside of my paddle brush for a once over... the only reason I'd think that maybe she steered you away from them is the ones that have the metal barrel... it gets hot and can dry it a bit... but ceramics are fine! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

come to think of it nyangel98 the brush that i had was a metal barrel !!!! u r amazing!!! thank u!!!:clap

Cricket is the brand and the name of the brush is Tsunami Jumbo Thermal Vent, you can get this one HERE and very similar ones too or you can try Sally Beauty Supply, they don’t have one like mine but is the same idea just different brand.

The reason I got my brush was actually not the brush, it was recently after the Tsunami earthquake and bought it to “help”, when I tried it I feel in love with it; I don’t know anything about this brand so feel free to do some research.
