I was just thinking how cool it would be if you could invent your own scent. I googled it and of course, someone is always way ahead of me. The Body Shop has a kit called Invent Your Scent.

Now you can create a fragrance to match your mood, beginning with our nine fragrance personalities. Mix any two together and you've got another. With so many combinations, you can create a fragrance nearly as unique as you.

How cool is that?

Well, let's say you're not into all that mumbo jumbo....you just wish they made a scent for bath, body and/or fragrance product that smelled like......

What? What would you love to smell in a bath, body or fragrance product?

Perhaps you love the way a gum smells or a candy bar or a vegetable or fruit. I'm not seeing the veggies come to life in the form of a fragrance, but you never know. What is it for you?

i looooooove anything coconut-smelling

Actually, I think cucumber is great in fragrance. V. cooling and yummmy. I also really love pear--but a natural pear. lancome makes a REALLY old frag. called O Oui that I used to love, it's a citrus pear blend that I adored for many months.

Vanilla! but that already exists

as long as it smells really sweet

My favorite scents are: plum, white chocolate, and gardenia. I think they'd smell nice combined, but they could end up smelling like a compost heap.

You know when you buy the good haribo gummy bears? I'd wear that. Or the smell of (red only) swedish fish. Makes my mouth water.

Or those samoa girl scout cookies. Double water...

Sounds super yummy! My dad loves Swedish Fish! And any girl scout cookie....

I love daisies, although I've never noticed if they have a distinctive scent. If so, that would be nice to have a scent made from (as long as it smells nice)... Assuming it smells nice, I'd mix it w/ honeysuckle or vanilla...

Anyone ever smell daisies? If so, how do they smell? I normally only end up w/ them in a bouquet, and my nose can't differentiate by the time I've smelled a whole bouquet *lol*

Thats great that the body shop let you create your own scent! I would love to create a scent called Attraction...i might go and create one...thanks for that idea.

Gap does something similar with roll-on oils...i like mixing the jasmine and pachouli (sp?) ones

i had something like this done at beauty.com some time ago. they ask you a series of questions and from that they put 3 fragrances together for you as samples (for a minimal charge). then you can pick any one of the three or all three as you personal scent. it was fun and the scents were great. i guess it just didn't catch on!
