I am 15 and have combo/dry, acne-prone, slightly sensitive skin.

I want some new scrubs--a gentle one to use more frequently & one that is more "heavy-duty". My skin just loves scrubs.

1) daily use

I'd like a gentle, non-fragranced scrub w/ simple, non-comodogenic ingredients that's safe for daily use (Yes, I know lots of people say that you only need a gentle scrub once a week and that's plenty exfoliation, but just from my experience, my skin responds really really well to manual exfoliation

).

I don't intend to really use it daily, but if my skin needs a pick-me-up and I just scrubbed the day before but with a scrub too harsh to use daily...well...you get my point.

I just like having a gentle scrub on hand to use a few times a week.

Please--No tingles or "refreshing" citrusy scents! And nothing drying. And please don't say baking soda...too alkaline, I've heard too many reports of this irritating people.

Oh and since this one would be used quite frequently--preferably not too pricy.

2) weekly

a slightly more "heavy duty" scrub and/or microderm treatment to use once or twice a week (or every other week--if it's really that strong!)

Since I don't intend to use this one that often, it can be fragranced I guess...but in general not too harsh. And I guess it can be a bit more pricy.

Please no St. Ives or other products that use abrasive ingredients like walnut shells

Thanks so much in advance

Daily: Clinique 7 day scrub. The grains are very small, its gentle and can be used daily hence the name, and it has no fragrance. I really liked it!

What about Stila Retexturizing Scrub or MAC Microfine Refinisher? Stila's can be used daily, and MAC is used 1-3 times per week?

i really loves burts bees face orange face scrub, it breaks some people out but it works for me.

they have a pore clearing scrub now i know though...

Daily: Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant (it helps u getting rid of blackheads too)

Weekly: Biotherm Exfoliator

Use a gentle cleaner to wash face daily. Cetaphil works well.

Mix a teaspoon of baking soda with 2 teaspoons of cleanser.

Rub into skin in circular motions. Rince well.

Dirt cheap, gentle, and won't irritate skin/cause allergic reaction.

Hi,

I'm also a fan of Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant. You can also use their Gentle Cream Exfoliant for weekly exfoliation.

For drugstore, I like Neutrogena Face Foaming Scrub..for dept store, I like Philosophy's Exfoliate...

5/6 uncoated aspirin mixed with a few drops of water.

Or sugar, water and olive oil! They're meant to be good.

this is a must

A.S.A.P glycolic scrub.

It is the best thing ever made..

I dunno if you have A.S.A.P products in the states. This stuff is so great

Where did you get the A.S.A.P glycolic scrub? I use glycolic peels but have never heard of glycolic scrub.
