Someone else asked for some recs and you guys did a really good job. I'm also searching for a signature daytime scent to wear out and about.

I like fruity, sweet, edible scents. I also like fresh, invigorating, and clear ones. I'm not a fan of oriental, jasminey, spicy, and really heavy smelling scents for myself. I would like one that isn't super popular.

I like these:

Elegant Gothic Lolita by Fyrinnae (it's complicated but a little powdery)

Pink Sugar by Aquolina (my HG "boudoir scent"

)

L'eau De Issey by Issey Miyake (crispyyy)

Incanto Dream by Salvatore Ferragamo

I'm going to the mall sunday so hopefully there will be some recs for me to go sniff! I'll have access to a Perfumania and Sephora as well as a department store.

I should mention I'm okay with wearing men's scents. Hey, why not?

Oooh! It has bamboo and granny smith apple? That's interesting (looked it up on sephora haha) It's under floral (not always a fan), but we'll see. lol

i told someone else that they may like this and you might as well- Angel by Thierry Mugler, vanilla, berries, caramel... but in a very light, dreamy way.

add: I also love the entire Sud Pacifique line. very glamourous and simple, and beautiful perfumes, all of them held together with either green or citrus or vanilla notes. i love them- so nice for summer.

Those sound beautiful, thanks!

Ohh look at this one by masaki matsushima

Blood Orange, Bitter Orange, Watermelon, Passion Fruit, Apricot, Mango, Mandarin, Lotus Flower, Crystal Musk.

it's making my mouth water, but it's 60 dollars! I could cry (but also save up).

DAMN! I was going to recommend some Fyrinnae, until I read your "likes" section.

Have you tried any of the scented products by MOR? They do plenty of extremely edible scents, including Limonella [sweet, lemony, not bitter, but slightly creamy], Marshmallow [Pretty much EXACTLY as titled.], and Sorbet. I suppose that may be a little too popular for your liking, but they're fun for those who like very edible scents.

Heaven and Earth Essentials also do a wonderful range, including "Home Sweet Home" [Three kinds of apple, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg], Lemon Meringue, Delicate Raspberry Crepes... they even do custom scent requests every six months! [They got rid of all my favourite ones though, which I wasn't too chuffed about.]

Do I have to get those online kemper? Either way, I think maybe the ones I find that are reasonably priced are going to be on the popular side. Aren't Fyrinnae ones awesome though? I bought 4 samples, I would only rebuy one, but I would vouch for the quality.

Love Angel too, it's a longtime favorite... theirry's alien is also amazing. I get non-stop compliments when I have it on.

Alien has notes of sambac jasmine, cashmeran, solar not and amber.

Juicy Couture is awesome. (passion fruit, watermelon, tuberose, vanilla, and creme brulee)

Stella McCartney makes great perfumes... (rose, peony flower, mandarin, rose absolute, amber)

Dior perfumes, some I love. J'adore & Pure Poison.

I agree with Jen, Sud Pacifiques are very pretty.

Lolita Lempicka is nice. (Ivy Leaves, Aniseed, Amarena Heart, Violets, Iris Roots, Vetiver, Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Musk.)

I could never pick just one or two perfumes. I wear something different depending on my mood. I might love perfume more than makeup. My collection has gotten out of control since Christmas.

lately i've been obsessed with the "pink fruit punch" perfume oil from the body shop. it smells oh so sweet and summery.

Top notes: mango, orange, and passionfruit.

Middle notes: magnolia, white peach and freesia.

Base notes: sheer woods, musk and hibiscus.

Other scents I like:

Escada - Pacific Paradise

Issey Miyake - L'Eau d'Issey Summer

DKNY - Red Delicious

Must also say the D &G light blue is fresh

Other fresh ones that I've tried are DKNY (the green apple) and Elizabeth Arden Provocative.

Went to the store today and Marc O'Polo had a new scent called Pure Green, actually thinking of buying it myself

I wish I could afford juicy couture because it DOES smell nice for something trendy. I'm so interested in the Issey Miyake summer fragrance. I hope I can narrow it down or I'm gonna have fragrances on both my arms and legs tommorrow

Escada Island Kiss is a great summer fragrance its nice and fruity [Fragrancenet.com - Tropical fruits and flowers with a hint of musk, alluring and feminine.], but the OC for Her is an almost identical fragrance at 1/4 the cost.

I love Dolce and Gabbana The One,I also love Angel Innocent by Thiery Mugler it's so much like Angel only lighter!!

Umm also Valentino V!!

I HAVE TOTALLY FOUND YOUR SCENT!!!

Michael Kors Island Hawaii...

i smelled it and it totally smells like summer.

From Sephora:

Island Michael Kors Hawaii

This luminous scent bursts open with a kaleidoscope of citrus sensations; exhilarating clementine and juicy orange fuse with luscious neroli while accents of hydroponic pineapple add to the tropical bliss. Exquisite orange flower accentuated with luxurious jasmine sambac and exotic Hawaiian ginger lilies transport the soul to the island destination. The jet set style is amplified by sexy white amber, creamy sandalwood, and rich, flowing balsamic notes reminiscent of warm tanned skin.

And the best part? Each 1.7 oz Eau de Parfum comes with an exclusive Michael Kors signature sarong and a clear plastic case that's perfect for tucking into your beach bag. A Sephora exclusive.

Notes:

Orange, Neroli, Clementine, Pineapple, Ginger Lily, Sambac Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Sandalwood, White Amber, Balsamic.

Style:

Exhilarating. Luminous. Exquisite.

Thanks Brewgrl! Saw this just in time to put on my list before I go.

Have you ever smell Summer by Kenzo? It's not fruity, but more fresh... And really great

i am currently wearing Aquolina Pink Sugar...hubby likes it a lot

Believe it or not i like Hilary Duffs Perfume.

"With Love" by Hilary Duff is great! I am also a huge fan of:

Brit and London by Burberry. Brit is more of a warm, vanilla-ish scent, and London is more fruity/flowery...very good for summer time.

Cool Water for Women by Davidoff is one of my favs and have been wearing for years...a bit melony, but not much, has a hint of Jasmine, apple, rose, waterlily, lotus blossom, mulberry, etc.

Two more...Dark Vanilla, but it might not be your thing. (speaks for itself) and Lucky You...it's very clean smelling, summery and fresh.

Good luck! I love all of those perfumes, but haven't found one I completely adore more than anything else.
