:icon_love I smelled it in a magazine sample a couple of months ago, and at the time it really grabbed my attention. I don't know why but I really liked it. I'm picky so when a fragrance grabs me, I really get excited! Well, somehow I lost or threw away that magazine and forgot all about the perfume. I just found another sample in another mag and I was like, I have to have this! So I finally bought some and I have not been disappointed. I really love it, I just go around smelling myself all day and going "mmmmm"! Some describe it as a slightly unisex scent, which I agree with (and I've never liked unisex scents before, for instance I don't like any of the CK scents). I think it's got a slightly feminine edge tho, which makes it work for me.

Top Notes

Bergamot, Bitter Orange, Mandarin, Mimosa Absolute

MIddle Notes

Rose absolute, Indonesian Patchouli, Patchouli Absolute

Base Notes

Labdanum, Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Indian Sandalwood, Benzoin Resinoide

Well I just wanted to rave about this because I haven't found a new fragrance in a LONG time! :icon_redf The fact that I actually bought this and spent $$$ on it is a big deal to me, LOL!

It's so funny because I'm the last person who would ever wear Prada fashions because I am a poor little NW hick town gal. So this has reminded me not to get caught up in the image of something. If you like it, you like it. Doesn't matter if you fit the image or not.

I’m eyeing this perfume but I learned for past experiences not to buy without trying first and also one small sample is not enough for me to decide. Now I'll have to go and get some samples !!

You can make any outfit work with a nice pair off shoes, but you need a good fragrance to go with it, that’s my opinion.

Ditto! I adore this one.... got the old fashioned "puffer" one ( ooh I cant remember the name of the thing... ooh atomiser!) I feel sort of more glamourous when I have this one on and my hubby likes it on me and always comments.

It lasts a long time on me too... :clap

You discovered this scent the same way that I did! I was sitting in a Dr's waiting room with my mom, opened a magazine and HEAVEN.:icon_love My mom even asked "What is that?" I purchased 2 miniatures from eBay auctions for $8.00( I've seen auctions where people bid $27.00@) and placed them in a spray bottle. Yes you do go around smelling yourself all day! Later in the year I bought a gift set-lotion(s) and parfum from Nordstrom. The price wasn't bad, $67.00. I think people see it as unisex because of the sandalwood, bergamont and patchouli, but I think it's too feminine for a man.

Huh. That's where I discovered Prada too.....in an Allure magazine. I re read the same mag ( I keep all my Allures!) not long ago in bed and I could smell it the whole time. It is one that hasn't disappeared like they usually do from those "rub your wrist' things :icon_smil

I like it too! Initially when it first came out I loved the scent and the price turned me off, but it has come down so I finally got some. Received a lot of compliments but had one guy tell me I smelled liked VICKS. That was weird?:icon_roll

I smelled this today and I like it too. I like that its a woodsy-type scent - I don't really go for florals. I prefer woodsy or foodsy scents. This is really nice and smells very sophisticated.

I absolutely love Prada! I haven't picked it up yet. *adds to wish list as a reminder*

Congrats on your purchase, sweetie!

I have to try and score a sample from the dept. store and wear it for a day to see if I like it at the end of the day. Sometimes certain scents smell different on me than they do in a magazine.
