I decided to wax before a day in the sun. So now I have marks on my face where I waxed, they are darker... so did I tan there or is that just a reaction with the sun.

What do I do (other than cover up with makeup)?

Is there something I can for it to fade faster?

Hmm.. I've never had that happen. I usually wax at night.

Thats a hormonal reaction that I unfortunately experienced also. I don't think it's specifically sun related but it would have helped to keep out of the sun. I think something with a brightening formula like MaMa lotion would help.

btw- mine are still there and I think it is going to be for a long time until I get some brightening products

I think it might be that when you waxed you took off the hair and also a bit of dead skin. That revealed a layer of new skin, and it might have been more sensitive to sun exposure than the rest of your face. On those areas you might have gotten some hyperpigmentation... I don't know what you could do for it, momokins gave the only suggestion I could think of. If it is hyperpigmentation then I don't think it'll go away easily.
