So I found a pretty awesome alternative!!

I am pretty acne prone so I have to be so careful what I use on my face, or break out city! Well I went on a trip and realized I forgot my facial moisurizer! I wash my face at least twice a day, and everyone knows all about the itch and tightness after a good scrub. My face was like AHHHH I am thirsty! And I was going crazy NOT to scratch. All I had was my B&BW lotion (not using that on my face) and the lotion in the hotel, don't even know what it is!

Well I look over and see the baby lotion for my son! This one to be exact..

And WOW! My face felt awesome ALL day, didn't break out...in fact - my face feels and looks better since using it...maybe it was just coincidence and my face was clearing up from my past break out - but reguarless it was awesome! I am going to try again and see if it helps my face again!

Thought I would share :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

i'm a baby lotion fan as well! never tried it on my face, though! great idea!

I never thought about it, but I was SO desperate by that time, I didn't even read the ingredients LOL!

Well...if it's gentle enough for babies, it should be gentle enough for us, right?

thanks for the tip. it makes sense, too. if it's gentle enough for a baby, it must be gentle enough on our faces.

It`s funny but I have already been in the same situation as yours . Once we went to some hotel for a weekend and as it appeared, I forgot my make up remover. Guess what I did :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />(and I`m not kidding) --I took my daughter`s Jonson&Jonson aloe vera body moisturizer (only hers was in oil) and after removing the make up my skin (even the eyes area) felt really soft. I quess, it may have to do with aloe vera`s component which contributed a lot to the success of our experiments with the baby lotions. Aloe is also well known for its healing and soothing qualities (as for after the sun explosure, for instance). So, maybe you should try it in its pure formula . Here in Israel, almost everyone has it at home as one of the must have skin remedy product

I'm gonna pick up some aloe and glycerin and try to make myself some moisturizer!

It just mist be the Aloe!! I am going to give it another go on Friday, so just in case it doesn't work as well this time, I have the weekend for my skin to calm down LOL!
