Okay, so i shave my bikini line and i got major bumps after shaving. And they stay for awhile and it to say the least it so annoying and gross and i'd rather have hair. I'm going to florida soon with people i don't even know but my friend and her family & I need to find away to get theese bumps to stop. I haven't shaved down there forawhile, so its time to shave again! But i don't want to until i know how to get rid of the bumps or something.

And my moms not even all to this beauty stuff and she can't help to save her life.

so, i need help. And my mom says she'll take me to walmart to get stuff.

I WILL NOT WAX.

help?!

Jess,

If you are shaving down there, my suggestion to avoid the bumps is to soften the stubbly hair shafts with a depilitory cream made specifically for the face... it's the gentlest. It will not completely remove the hair, but it will soften it so it is more fine and limp. It's the coarse hair making contact with your delicate skin that is causing your bumps. If you do the cream softening every other day, you will not feel the discomfort of rough stubble and bumps.

Try it. I think you'll be pleased.

UMM I use this stuff called coochy cream and its rash free and you can use on your arm pits and legs .I love this stuff when I have to shave down below.I got it at a adult store and this is what it looks like

hm, i looked up some more information about coochy cream, it seems like a good product also. I'll hafta talk to my mom about that stuff.

I use the Schik Intuition with the shaving cream bar around the blade. It's great because you don't have to add shaving cream and worry that some of the cream might wash away and then you're dry shaving. That helps me not have any bumps. Also, shave with the direction of the hair growth, not against it!!

lmao i can just imagine saying "mom can you buy me some coochy cream" hahaahhaa

how can you not shave in the opposite direction? if you shave in the same direction it feels so harsh when rubbing in the opposite direction, and doesnt completely get rid of the hair. yuck. jess i think you should try an epilady! i havent yet either but nury told me about it, it kinda like tweezes the hairs out, it might cause irritation though, but it lasts for weeks aparently! im gonna buy one (expensive so yeah you probably cant do this..crap)

the same direction is shaving downwards, when you shave upwards (like on the legs) thats going in the opposite direction.

i think my mom would buy it for me. but i leave in a few days so it probably wouldn't get here in time.

but thanks though for the information about the shaving in what direction.

I used to get razor rash real bad in my bikini area... I bought this stuff at Walmart and it works great. I never get it anymore. Its great stuff! I definitely suggest it.

I use this to shave....

I never get razor burn now.

hmmm try going to a parlor where they wax etc and ask what is best. I only use a razor and a product called femfresh, its a soap for downstairs. then when i get out i use a moisturizer. You may also be having a reaction to shaving, not to sure. Use something gentle, thats save for down there. i shave once a week, sometimes longer as i use a hair retardant. You could also use creams then shave the rest of if there is still hair. I use marzena,Marzena BodyCare Products not sure if available in the US tho. its a hair retardent and heaps cheap to buy!!!
