ok when i wear my powder, i put on my moisturizer , but when i get my powder on under my eyes look old, like lines and just not smoothe. does anyone have some good suggestions on what i could use?

Absolutely! There are a million eye creams out there that are amazing! I love Sheiseido's Eye Cream from their Benefiance line, its a bit pricey, but fab! If you want something a little less expensive, pharmagel's eye firme is an amazingly hydrating eye cream that is anti-aging! But, have you ever considered switching from powder to mineral? Most do not contain any talc (whih will dry your skin out) and most mineral lines are noncomdogenic, too!!!!! Good Luck!:icon_chee

I love MAC's Fast Response eye cream! It's not too heavy yet just enough to make my concealer glide on and stay w/o ever looking or turning dry. Ask for a sample of it next time you're at the counter and they'll be happy to give ya one so you can try it first.

thanks ladies, and i have thought about using mineral makeup but never have.

My vote also goes to the MAC Fast Response eye cream. It helps my dark circles also. I love it.

not a cream but i use grapeseed oil under my eyes. i find it moisturises very well and my foundation doesnt crease as much when i use it. i think ive read somewhere that its also good for the eye lids but i dont put it there because its very runny and it gets into my eyes. if u really need a cream i know caudalie has an under eye cream with grapeseed extract but its kinda pricy:s:

Bobbi Brown Hydrating Under Eye Cream is super moisturizing and smoothes out those small lines, and was specifically designed to be used under concealer and powder, when lines become most apparent. Dermalogica makes a really great eye moisturizer too, called"Multi Vitamin Power Firm for Eyes and Lips."It had red seaweed and grapefruit and green tea in it, and Vitamin A, C, and E--and lines really seem to vanish underneath it.

I'm still trying to find one that I really like too. I have the same problem as you Charish. I did buy grapeseed oil and am going to try that because several people here on mut were raving about how good it works.

i love to use Cetaphil moisurizing cream under my eyes. all you need is a little dab and its very hydrating.

I love the Olay Regenerist eye lifting serum...I think it helps smooth out my undereye area and keep me from getting those creases. Right now I'm not using it and I've noticed a huge difference in how my concealer & powder wear under my eyes.

hm, wow that's a lot of stuff, i hope it doesn't take me too long to find what works for me, thanks again for the suggestions everyone, can't wait to see more.

I would recommend MAC. It isn't too pricey, but very emmollient. A lot of really pricey eye creams aren't really that much more effective than their cheaper counterparts. They only charge more b/c they claim to rid you of wrinkles-though it hs been proven that you cannot get "rid" of wrinkles except with Botox. The amount these creams affect your wrinkles is so insignificant you might as well not even bother

hmm why do u need an eye cream?? when u got moisturiser?? i just dont get! doesnt moisturiser hydrate ur eyes too?

because the eye aera can be a lot drier than the rest of your face, it needs more emmollients to moisturize it. You average moisturizer (unless you have very dry skin) won't have enough emmollient to fully moisturize your under eye area.

I know lots of ppl just use Vaseline, it is thick and emmollient enough to do the job well. It may look greasy though, which is why ppl buy eye cream

suposedly, the skin under the eyes are more fragile, delicate, and age faster

then the face- therefore, a separate moisturizer is needed.

just because something is drier doesn't mean it ages faster. Dryness can cause superficial lines (nothing a good moisturizer can't get rid of) but it won't cause your eye to "age faster." Thats just a myth that the cosmetic companies propagate

I really like MAC Fast Response Eye Cream and Avon Anew Ultimate Transforming Eye Lift Cream. They both hydrate the under eye area very well, and my concealer doesn't settle into the lines I do have.
