I need a better moisturizer to pair with "Retin- A" - what would you suggest?

I have been using Retin-A gel since 2005 for acne (from age 15 to now at 23). I no longer have the severe strain of Acne I used to and my skin is virtually clear thanks to taking Spironolactone but  I am still prone to getting the dreaded chin and jawline pimples around my period so I still use the retin-a for this reason. I use the Clinique moisturizing lotion at night (and the gel form during the day) with a high quality grade of Grape Seed oil (or Argan oil) but I've recently started to peel considerably regardless of this?

I tried exfoliating the flaky dry skin gently today with a exfoliator pad and my skin actually started to bleed! this has never happened before. I thought since I was already using the oil and moisturizer I wouldn't experience this but apparently it's not working well enough.

Is there a better moisturizer I could use? one that's very hydrating but won't break me out or make my skin greasy.

i'm on the same treatment plan with Retin-A at night and Spironolactone 2x daily.  i found that grape seed oil now irritates my skin.  i love the boscia oil free nightly hydration. i just started this treatment 2mo ago and i've yet to find a daily moisturizer i'd recommend but i am *mostly* using a mattifying lotion from DDF.

you might need to reevaluate your cleanser as well.  i'm currently using purity from philosophy but also liked the purifying cleansing gel from boscia.
