I have allergic reaction on my lips

Okay i have these really gross bumps on my lips. It coud either be from waxing or this lipstick....It feels dry and I want to put something on it but I do not want to irriate it more. I do not what to do. Please help because, tom i start college and i dont want my classmates to think i have herpes or somethin

Well, it is possible for it to be a herpes simplex. There's more than one form, and there is a herpes simplex which causes cold sores. WAY back in the 7th grade it used to happen to me along my lips. They were yellowish bumps, and HURT like crap! My PE coach is the one who told me what they were, and said I got them instead of the cold sores inside or a BIG nasty one outside of my mouth. Carmex worked well, but it took about a good week for them to go away. I'm SO glad I haven't had that happen in years, because it sucks!

if it is a cold sore (i get them a few times a year it seems like) then use abreva. trust me, it works wonders.

no, it was too late at night. But by the moring it wasnt as bad. It was just a little red. Thank God! I couldnt imagine stepping into my first day of college with fish lips.

Hope that whatever is causing the irriations clears up soon. Maybe u could apply some vaseline.
