my hair is naturaly dirty blonde-dark blonde. i added blonde highlights but i made the strips to thick, it was kinda like my whole head was bleached lol

ok i kept that for about 6 months until last week when i bought a box of loreal excellence natural dark brown, yeah i know this is extreme but ive done tons of colors before including blue black, which i actually liked, you know that morticia adams look lol

okee so my goal is to have black brown hair but this dark brown isnt dark enough, not to mention i only bought one box to cover my whole head of longish hair so now i have tons of blonde coming through which is lightening the dark brown...grrr help me lol

all i want is black brown hair :icon_eek: anyone know of a black/brown color? the only one i found with that in the title is Just For Men lol. i would get jet black but i dont want to scare my neighborrs, they think im weird as it is.

so im thinking of trying a different brand, maybe clairol nice and easy because one time i used dark brown and it came out kinda black so maybe this will help? the loreal is just way to light. when is it safe to color again? i have blonde spots i must cover, im in pig tails now to hide it

ive done the black licorice a few years ago. its not that dark, its kinda like a light black and faded in no time (to an ashy black)

feria had a stong hold and color but the colors change into a weird unnatural hue..like hilights of purple lol

ill probably have to dye my hair over and over just to get a color to hold, and get all those spots ive missed, and wow did i miss a ton :icon_redf

I like the Garnier 100% color... that seems to hold awhile and is pretty true to color. I've used the dark golden brown, and it was really dark... you might want to try that or maybe one shade darker. Another good one is the new formula Herbal Essences (it's in a holographic box.. .not the white cylinder ones) that smelled soooo good, and worked really well... very true and long lasting. ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Garnier Nutrisse "EBONY"! Thats the color I have in my avatar although i got blond hilights overtop. Its the best color and it fades out into a gorgeous chocolate brown! I used 2 boxes for my long hair. You may even need 3

lol im sorry i didnt mean to sound harsh

hmm...the ebony ive never seen that one, fading out to a chocolate brown is nice

well i ran out of the house before i read these posts, and all i can find that actually said black brown was revlon color silk, i have a feeling this is garbage based on the price, it was like 2.79 lol

well whats the worst that can happen? i mean it cant turn my hair orange since its so dark allready lol....as long as it doesnt make my hair fall out :icon_eek:

Well, lets hope not! lol ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> j/k. If you dye your hair often you just want to be sure you pay close attention to your roots. You dont' want "hot roots" (orange roots from the heat of your scalp making the peroxide lighten it)

ooohh ok...im really bad at this lol

ok so my roots are fine they colored nice and evenly, this was just dont so i have no growth yet.

now the areas i missed are mostly the ends and alot scattered on the sides, should i just apply it to where i missed?
