i'm always looking for new ways to get rid of my blemishs faster. i thought it would be interesting to find out who has the best blemish buster routine. post the routine you follow and the amount of time it usually to takes to return to clear skin! i'll start...

i generally switch to my dermalogica anti bac skin wash once a day

use my mama lotion once daily on the affected area

use my microdermabrasion scrub at least once during this routine

moisturize like crazy with my sundari neem and avocado

i can get rid of the blemish in about 7 days! although, fading the spot that's left takes a bit longer! could be 2-3 weeks for that! thank God for concealer! lmao~

avc usually gets rid of my blemish in about 4 days or so. though, i'm always examining my skin like a lunatic..a little skin obsessed...well..i'm usually able to stop the blemish from forming into something bigger with avc as long as I ambush it immediately.

Apple cider vinegar possibly.

I use differin and it usually disappears overnight. Generally though, I don't really get zits often and they're not that big.

Hi,

Great topic Monnie.

For me to get my pimples to leave quickly and quietly, I must keep my routine very simple. Wash, tone, moisture and make sure my hands are clean before I touch my face.

Hi,

Welcome to MUT.

Here's the thread about ACV (Apple, Cider, Vinegar - Facts and Remedies).

Hope this helps.

prayer and some moisturiser

I read somewhere that when you have a blemish, harsh scrubs won't help at all. I don't have the source of course, but just in case you were curious, it may help :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Also, out of curiousity: what is mama lotion?

For me, it totally depends on what kind of pimple it is.

The small little ones that I get from irritation will usually come to a head after 2-3 days if I spot treat it with BP.

Cystsic acne is completely unpredictable though. Sometimes it will go away in less then a week, other times it hangs around for almost two weeks. I usually spot treat them with Diferin Gel or Retin A Micro.

this is what i do and so far its worked great.

clean and clear persa-gel 10 on the little bastard (zit)

then if your wearing mu put clinique acne solultions spot healing gel over it.

tea tree oil. Just put a little bit on a q-tip and dab it on spot. It zaps it quickly (i can easily cover it within a day) and best of all it doesn't dry out my skin.

great tips ladies! i have tried acv and it didn't work as quickly for me and as soon as i stopped using it the little bugger came right back!

you're so lucky leza! i wish i could get my skin to perform so well! must be the blessing of clear, kapha skin!

hello aprilpgb22 and welcome to mut! i'm monnie from michigan.

i thought this too for a very long time. i really think it depends on the person. the weirdest things work for different people. i used to be so afraid of any type of scrub because my skin is acne prone. but the derma e microdermabrasion scrub is super fine and seems to just brighten my skin up without irritation. now i swear by it once per week!

there are a few threads here about mama lotion. i think this is my hg product for 2006! this stuff is amazing on my acne prone skin and has helped my enjoy blemish free skin for the longest time in many years. most of the ladies here know i simply rave about this product! check out this thread!

These MD Formulations products have helped me to get rid of blemishes faster:

Vit-A-Plus Clearing Complex

Glycare Acne Gel

I usually use either my Neutrogena on the spot treatment or my murad on the spot treatment, both work alright - 7 days approximately. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Generally, using MK Blemish Control toner as an on-the-spot treatment, I can get rid of a blemish without a mark in abour 1-3 days... Depends on how stubborn it is!

I've used and had good results with:

Toothpaste

Tea Tree Oil

Biore' Blemish Bombs

Abreva (yes, i know.. but it worked)
