Does this really matter? I mean, the 'virgin' means that it's of the highest quality, if I understand the meaning correctly.

My coconut oil is in solid form, and it says "100% Natural Coconut Oil".

Now, I doubt this will make too much of a difference in the moisturizing benefits of the coconut oil, but I just want to make sure before coconut crazy tonight after I exfoliate.

lol, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Extra virgin just means it's the first oil pressed from the coconut (or olive or whatever)

so it shouldn't make a difference. I have a feeling someone has asked this question before, feels like de ja vu!

enjoy your coconut oil!

i guess if it's 100% you don't risk much. as for the solid form, it's normal, it becomes solid at an average temperature, you have to put it under hot water for a few minutes and it will be liquid.

Mine didn't say "extra virgin" either, but you're right Rosie! This question gets answered in the original thread about coconut oil.

actually i was thinking of that, and frankly it doesn't say extra virgin on my bottle either. i just assumed for the price i paid and considering it's organic i was buying also quality. in fact, the only bottle of oil that says "extra virgin" on the label at home is the olive oil one. anyway, as already said, if it's pure, it's okay.
