Its called The wrinkle cure...if anyone interested here is the link

The Wrinkle Cure by Nicholas Perricone, M.D

So...why did i buy the book? Uhm..cuz i was walking by a closing down book sale..all books 50-80% off and I couldn't resist. So, I bought a couple books that day...most of the books were utter crap and this book was a bit interesting.

I will admit, i was a bit skeptical..but when i started reading..I noticed that the author delves into matters such as which ingredients work for wrinkles and how..and why certain foods can damage your skin and how..and why buying concentration forms of vitamin C on your skin works better than eating tons of Vit C and so forth.

I will say that I don't have wrinkles..hardly..unless you count laugh lines as wrinkles! I'm all about prevention so that is primarily why i bought the book.

Now, I'm not telling you...Yes, go and buy this book..but what I am telling you..is that I came across a book that is down to earth and actually makes sense..and i dunno about you..but it seems these days most "health or "cure" books are a bunch of fluff!

The book really gets into specifics of explaining the structure of your skin and how certain products work and displays a good amount of illustration in how that works.

I'm very technical minded when it comes to skincare and how it works with the skin...being inquisitive I am not fooled very easily..sometimes yes =) but most times no...

So, in conclusion..yea, it's a good book and i will try some of the products they recommend...once i get paid that is..that's for sure.

I'm gonna try some of the stuff they recommend and see how that goes. I'll do before and after pictures and I think it'll be a lot of fun! OOoooooh, I love investigating products...hehe

Okay..i'm outtie!

Have you read this book? I am hoping I get it in the mail tomorrow so I can read some of it this weekend.

Have I read it from start to finish? Nope

Have I read 7 chapters of it..yes..and there's 11 chapters

If you can get a hold of the book and have a look through it this weekend..that'll be mega awesome..it's more enjoyable to have an opinion of something when someone else can comment to!

Hey..Neato!

I love sharing!

*looks up* Okay..wrong kind of sharing..but nevertheless sharing! Tee hee!

Alright Peoples!

so, I'm reading chapter 10 in my the wrinkle cure book and what a load of crap! That chapter is concentrated on supplements that prevent wrinkles and the author also claims health benefits too. I dunno about you,but i don't believe in taking supplements for everything...some are necessary..but some are not..

In addition, I'd take a grain of salt of what the author Nicholas Perricone, M.D says. Most likely, what he is doing is getting paid by pharmaceutical / Nutrition coompanies and publishing inconclusive information in his book, so people will read it and think..Oh yes, it must work because he says it does and the consumer will go and think it's working when it's merely doing nothing.

I will disect his wrinkle cure book and continue to cross reference his material and will let you know futhermore.

That's all for now...
