Its called The wrinkle cure...if anyone interested here is the link
The Wrinkle Cure by Nicholas Perricone, M.D
So...why did i buy the book? Uhm..cuz i was walking by a closing down book sale..all books 50-80% off and I couldn't resist. So, I bought a couple books that day...most of the books were utter crap and this book was a bit interesting.
I will admit, i was a bit skeptical..but when i started reading..I noticed that the author delves into matters such as which ingredients work for wrinkles and how..and why certain foods can damage your skin and how..and why buying concentration forms of vitamin C on your skin works better than eating tons of Vit C and so forth.
I will say that I don't have wrinkles..hardly..unless you count laugh lines as wrinkles! I'm all about prevention so that is primarily why i bought the book.
Now, I'm not telling you...Yes, go and buy this book..but what I am telling you..is that I came across a book that is down to earth and actually makes sense..and i dunno about you..but it seems these days most "health or "cure" books are a bunch of fluff!
The book really gets into specifics of explaining the structure of your skin and how certain products work and displays a good amount of illustration in how that works.
I'm very technical minded when it comes to skincare and how it works with the skin...being inquisitive I am not fooled very easily..sometimes yes =) but most times no...
So, in conclusion..yea, it's a good book and i will try some of the products they recommend...once i get paid that is..that's for sure.
I'm gonna try some of the stuff they recommend and see how that goes. I'll do before and after pictures and I think it'll be a lot of fun! OOoooooh, I love investigating products...hehe
Okay..i'm outtie!
