It was my mom's birthday today, and just before leaving on holidays, my dad gave her her birthday gift.

He offered her a thai massage !! I just found it on google (first link when you search thai massage on google.fr), apparently it has lots of good reviews. They also uploaded little videos explaining each massage, i couldn't resist looking at the one she got (perfumed oils massage). You also get a little package with products once you get there, that is so nice !

I'm jealous !!

But it's a great gift, she wanted to get pampered for so long, and lately she's had back problems, so i'm sure she'll love it.

Did any of you have a thai massage ? It looks a bit rough sometimes, as in they're really putting some strength in their movements. But it look fantastic !

I've never had a professional massage. I've been dying to, though! I would love to be able to kick back for 30 minutes with a massage and just relax! I've never heard of a thai massage though - what does it involve? Is it just a different way of massaging, or does it have other things that go along with it?

I am probably the only person on the planet who can't stand getting massaged. I've tried different types and different massage therapists. I always feel sick afterwards. They've told me it's because the massage releases toxins from my muscles, which is supposed to be a good thing. Maybe it is but it's hard for me to talk myself into something I know is going to make me feel yucky.
