Well i have very light skin. The main problem is the darkness under my eyes and i have no idea what to do to get rid of it unless i put make-up on. They also seem to look swollen and puffy a lot and it makes me look tired. I just want an effective reasonable way to get rid of these problems

For the darkness there is sadly little options. Diet and sleep of course have an influence, as well as allergies and toxins. You can try chamomile or cornflower floral waters on cotton pads to relieve some of the puffiness (store them in the fridge). It's not an ideal solution but i get allergies all year round, pollen, dust, anything tiny will provoke puffy eyes. When that happens i get a lot of comments "oh you look tired today", which can become annoying at some point. A trick that seems to work for me is to apply a satin eyeshadow, either a pale pink that is close to my skintone (discontinued MAC eyeshadow), or a shimpagne eyeshadow (Urban Decay Sin is my staple) and 3 coats of mascara. Avoid eyeliner.

Eyecreams, preferably light creams or gels, can help relieve some of the puffiness and undereye darkness. The results show slowly though, and they don't do miracles. I can't suggest one as i focus on moisturising that area, this is my main issue.

You can also apply sunscreen under your eyes, and use sunglasses.

Could be allergies, hereditary, age, exposure to the sun.

Make sure you apply sunscreen in the dark areas every day.

If it is that bad, then perhaps you should see your doctor to rule out anything medical.

This is a problem I have as well.I do use Covergirl conselor/highlighter stick for under and around my eyes.

It makes a little difference, and yeah tons of mascara with no eye liner!! lol I have such pale skin color so it's hard to

hide my under eye color and puffiness. If you do find something neat to help please let me know~

Thanks

I don't have dark circles but I do have puffy eyes. I think the ONLY real solution for dark circles is to get it taken care of surgically.

As for puffy eyes I have nearly tried everything and nothing seems to work. I tried hemorrhoid cream yesterday and I think it kind of worked actually. I only left it on for about 12 min and noticed a bit of a difference. I am going to try and leave it on for 15 min next time. Although this is not a daily recommendation. I have been told to ONLY use it when for special occasions. So if you decide to go with this option use with caution.

The other two things I have heard that work are applying neurophen gel (which is a muscle relaxer and anti inflammatory) and or to put your heard on the edge of the bed with your head hanging and massage the eye area gently. I have not tried either of these two so I wouldn't know if they work or not.

You can try an eye cream/serum with caffeine. It's a temporary fix for the puffiness. And a cream/serum with Vitamin C might help with some brightening, but as someone else said, it's not a miracle cure. The Garnier Anti-Dark Circle eye roller is nice for daytime, since it reduces puffiness and neutralizes dark circles in one nifty product.

Just stay away from "yourself" and kill the darklings it sends at you. There are at least 3 waves to fight through. It will try to use the Black Hole power on you so just try and avoid that. After the last wave of darklings, run up to "you" and if it's done, you'll "absorb" the darkness back into you. If not, than back off so that you don't get killed and keep trying.
