This is the way, how I choose the cream:
Before going to the shop:
1. Determine the type of my skin (it isn't very difficult lol)
2. Decide what cream I need: moisturizing (hydrating), nourishing, anti-aging etc. (this will help me not to felt at a loss then I see the variety of creams).
3. Find the information about the harmful ingredients in the cream and keep them in mind (or write them down
). This help me not to buy poor quality cream.
In the shop:
1. I seek the shop consultant assistance and ask to show various creams (I have already decide that kind of cream I need: moisturizing (hydrating), nourishing, anti-aging etc.).
2. Consider ingredients of all proper creams attentively.
3. Test the remaining creams. Put the cream on my wrist and wait for some time. If there aren‘t any redness or rashes – cream suits me.
4. Smell the remaining creams, maybe there are some that I like/dislike most.
5. Choose the creams in the tube not in the tub. Creams in the tub are tend to go-bad soon because bacteria from your hand are got in the cream then you use it.
6. Choose each of remaining creams, because all of them are good.
7. If I decide to buy the day and night cream, I choose one brand creams.
At home:
1. Don‘t hurry to evaluate the cream work. Use it at least one month (this is the period of renewal of the skin layer) to determine the cream efficiency.
2. It is preferably to have some creams and change them according the season. Use the nourishing ‘heavy’ creams in winter & autumn and the moisturizing (hydrating) ‘light’ creams in summer & spring.
What is your way to choose good creams?
