How many times do I need to wash face during the day?

sounds like you need to use some blotting paper to get rid of the excess oil. go to your local drugstore, most places sell it and it comes in a little "book" of papers. also are you using powder? this can help to absorb the oil and keep you less oily for a little longer.

if you wash your face your problem will only increase. the more you wash off the oil using astringent products like you're using, the more oil your body will produce.

Technically, you need to wash it twice a day, in the morning, and at night, and no more.

For the rest of the day, keep blotting papers in your purse, you can try applying a little rice powder after blotting. But remember to be gentle with your skin, otherwise it will backfire on you. If you dry it too much, it will only answer by producing more oil to compensate.

A clay mask about once a week also helped me in the past with my oily issues.

Also, it depends on which Aveeno moisturizer you're using as some come with SPF, but i would suggest you use a sunscreen. Sun is a false friend for oily skins, so using a sunscreen should help as well.

I only wash my face in the am, regardless of whether I wear maker up or not.

Don't forget to use a moisturizer with sunscreen, before you go outside in the sun.

I wash my face twice a day. Really if you don't have the time, you don't have to wash your face in the morning with any products, just rinse. You should definitely wash your face before bed to get rid of makeup and dirt from the day.

Pretty much every brand sells blotting papers for a couple $ so you won't have too much trouble finding some. I know the body shop also makes some with tea tree oil, you could try them too.

If you wear foundation, I'd go with the Palladio Rice Papers. They have powder on them and don't disturb your makeup. I've used the Clean n Clear ones, and even though the package says they don't remove makeup, I found that my face looks smudgy after using those. Trying powder is also a good idea. For colored powder I like Coty Loose Powder, but if you want a clear powder, use the Mattify Loose Powder. People are going to think I'm crazy cuz I always talk about this stuff, but it seriously is the only thing I've ever found that gets rid of oiliness for me. The Coty works kind of good, but I don't like to reapply it because it feels thick. Just once in the morning is enough for colored powder.

I wouldn't use the morning burst, I would go for the oil free sensitive skin clean and clear if you have an oily face. Also I would just use an astringent afterwards, and use some oil pads during the day to absorb it. Queen helen is heavy in oil. You don't need that much. Try washing again at night, and use astringent again. I would say to use clinique cleanser they make some specifically for oily skin types.

Ps. I also agree with the oil absorbing sheets by clean and clear. They work well, especially in your t zone.
