We all focus on which products we use, but i think how is also a huge part in the success of our beauty routine and on the feedback of our cleaning products.

I have a sensitive skin and allergies, so obviously, it's very important for me to be careful when washing my face.

For example, choosing a soap to wash my face with soap, which i do occasionnally, it has to be a natural soap, preferably with a high percentage of olive oil, anything else is a nightmare. When i rinse, i make sure i don't use more than lukewarm water, or else i end up looking like lobster

The other times, i use oil cleansing, i spray a few pumps in my hand, rub the oil on my hands, and apply it in a circular motion on my face and neck, focusing more on my eyes if i wore makeup that day. Then i wipe it off with a cotton pad.

I get very paranoid with my cotton pad. I like oval shapes better than round and square, and i don't like to have little bits of cotton falling on my face.

I also like to use those double side pads, one smooth, and one with lines or else which is great to catch all that mascara and wipe it away.

I used to be a huge wash cloth user, now i realised they're just too harsh for me, and i had to make sure to change them regularly (to avoid bacteria growth), and to wash them with the right laundry soap to avoid eczema.

So, how do you wash your face ?

I squirt a little bit of my face washing liquid (cetaphil) onto my hands and rub, rub, rub it all over! Then I splash it off with lukewarm water.

I do have a clarsonic, but I used it for a while and never noticed any big difference in my skin.

In the evening, I use my regular cleansing oils. I pump some into my palm and rub in circular motion to loosen the makeup off my face and around my eyes. I use a microfibre cleansing cloth that I handwash everytime and let dry. It takes off all the oils and makeup. I reapply oils again and rub some more. I take a few cotton pads and squirt some witchhazel/rosewater toner on them. I use the first one that has the most toner first - around my eyes first to get rid of any leftover makeup and oil. Then I keep going til I get rid of all the oils and use all the pads. Then I moisturize and I'm done!

In the morning, I use my kaolin clay/oatflour/milk powder cleanser. After I brush my teeth, I wet my face and my hands. I sprinkle some of the cleansing powder into my palm and put my hands together to make a paste. I spread it on my face and I turn on the shower. I let the shower wash off my quick mask and I'm done.

i use vichy cleanser in da mornin,so i wet my face with lukewarm water and rub alll over my face starting wid my forehead, sides, cheekbones and for my cheeks i go in an upward manner and finish with my nose and chin and then wash with cold water, i try not to go beyond a minute and splash my face at least 3 times with cold water to get all the cleanser off. and dab lightly with a white washcloth....on weekends its a lil more intense since i have extra time..

i use my cleanser (now im using this exfoliating cleanser from clean n clear) & to take it off i'll use warm/hot water, but most importantly ill use a washcloth, it seems like it exfoliates well & helps to take off the cleanser moreso than just using my hands.

I just wash my face thrice a day with my regular mineral based facial cleanser from Omorovicza. It's nice because it doesn't dry out my skin. I do exfoliate my face every other day and follow it with a toner.
