Do you keep your perfumes in their boxes? Or out of them?

Do you store them in a dark place or light?

I read somewhere that the fragrance stays the same only if perfumes are stored and kept in their original boxes or out of the sunlight.

What's your opinion on / experience with that?

i put them on a shelf in the closet without boxes

i still have some parfume more then 10 years and they work like new

i just keep them on a shelf in the bathroom. like michal i had some last many many years with no problems, i finally tossed some coz I never used them but when I did they still smelled like new.

In the warmer weather, like now, I often keep them in the refrigerator. It's out of the sun that way, and when I put the fragrance on, it's cool and refreshing.

i keep my colognes and stuff in a dark, cool place. i've even put a couple in the refrigerator. i've heard that is not a good idea though.

I dont expose to sun light and just leave them in my room. I throw away the boxes because they are only a waste of space. As long as the room you store them in doesnt go above room temperature and the bottles not exposed to sunlight then you should be fine!

My husband and I store ours in their original boxes (for the most part) on a shelf in our walk in closet.

I arrange mine in rows on a shelf in my bedroom (so I can admire them, lol), out of the direct sunlight, without the box.

if you're from a warm climate, you should store it in the refigerator to maintain its fragrance.

I have a double door in my dresser that has big enough shelf for all my perfume, I keep them in a very large, plastic basket, easy for me to access but, keeps them off my dresser and dust free cuz I have so many!
