it should be simple...but the thing is i seem to be slightly different every week or even day! it changes with the weather (hot, cold, humid, dry) or environment im in (e.g. if a room is air conditioned)... maybe it's the products im using... but 2 weeks ago i thought i had oily skin because i was shiny all over, but it was especially hot at that time, then suddenly it started raining and it cooled down, and my skin felt tight all over and appeared to start flaking... and now it's cooler and i think i have a slightly oily t-zone after 8hrs.... am i supposed to adjust my skincare according to the weather????? i know it's reasonable for seasons...but for daily weather...? :S

the skincare routine ive been using:

-avene gel cleanser for normal/oily skin

-neutrogena moisture for sensitive skin ...that's it!!! once in a while i use an exfoliating mask but i haven t in the past 2 weeks ... if i have an occasional breakout i dab a thin layer of clean and clear persa gel on the spot

i have to adjust my skincare during the summer (it gets more oily) honestly i found my skin type out from trial and error.

hi retro-violet, just curious, but what products are you using at the moment?? I tried the clinique tzone pore minimizer as you suggested and it's working great so far!!!!! thanks

My skin is not as bad when it's summer, but in the winter it is very dry, and flaky and sometimes tight, but I moisturise regularly with my trusty Neutrogena moisturiser

i actually started to treat my skin based on my ayurveda dosha and that has helped me get my skin in shape, start eating better (the right foods for me), and to loose weight. this is an amazing new way (new to westerners, anyway) to think about your total body and how everything works together. now the book i used is a reference staple for me to keep things in order. i carry it in my tote bag everyday, and even give the test to my friends and customers that are having issues that they can't explain. since i begin this lifestyle change i feel 10 years younger and extra cute! lmao
