How can I get my hair like this?

Ok, this is what I am looking for... Crazy wild hair, kind of sticking out all over the place. I have Beyond the Zone's Spike It, but I don't know if this stuff can do what I want...

I haven't messed with this stuff before, and I wanted to try and do this tomorrow for a Halloween party I am going to go to...

I have curly hair, but I was going to flat iron it, I just don't know how to make it stand up all over the place like this...

Looks to me like LOTS of product will do the trick. Apply product before blowdrying and then flat iron, followed by more product and as you're spraying with a good hair spray, bend over and pull the hair up and away from your scalp.And then just when you think you have enough hairspray, put more! I wish I could remember the name of this hairspray I used to have, man this stuff could make your hair budgeproof. It had a black bottle with red designs and lettering on it. HTH Leila!

to try helpin it stick up a bit u cud take a section of hair and get a comb and at the roots comb up and down so it starts to ruffen up and gathering 2geva (it might look knotty and w/.e but once u let ur hair drop u cant see the roots jus big full hair) did u understand what i meant by that? cuz i really dunno how else 2 explain it.

have you tried Redken Guts? It works SOOOO good!

I Heard That "dirt" From Jonathan Product Was Really Good For That Piecey Look, I Know Alot Of People That Use It And Say That It Is Good, Its Sold At Sephora.hth.

Ok so what I did din't really come out like I wanted... But the I ended up running out of time when I was getting ready, so I really didn't have the time to mess with it unfortunately... I AM going to try again though!!

I posted some pics of my outfit and the hair in the October 29th FOTD forum thread...

I used Beyond the Zone Spike It hair cement, and Suave hairspray to try and set it some... I'll try this again and see what I can come up with... I was going to do it maybe tomorrow since I don't have class.

I bet the hairspray you are talking about was Splash by Focus 21. OMG

The strongest hairspray ever and the best part is that it it water soluble. They now make a lighter hold its in a black bottle too but with yellow designs and lettering.

Yeah Focus 21 will keep it in place forever... that stuff was like spray glue! lol You could also try ShortSexy hair products, they have tons of putty's and waxes that can help chunk it up - then the hairspray will hold it... if you can't find Focus21 - try BigSexy's "Spray & Play Harder" hairspray ---- that stuff is like cement too! lol --- Off to check out your pics!
