home coloring for natural "salt & pepper" Opti permed hair to cover the silver

pls. advise how to do this....my hair is now short...but I let it longer in the fall and winter....I had this perm on July 5th 2011....and know to wait at least two weeks....or just to cover the "silver."  no ammonia additives please!!!!

tai chi1 i honestly don't know how to do that,but try going to www.google.com for some suggestions or maybe buy some of the L'oreal hair coloring and follow the instructions on the box.
