Help!!!!

here in aus it is start of winter and always around this time of yr my skin gets worse!!!!

I have a prblem with flakiness next to the nose/under eyes, and it irritates, i do have more of oily skin but this is my problem area, it is always red ans i have tried all sorts that is available in my local supermarket, we have facial creams etc etc there.

Umm just wondering if anyone else has this problem or if anyone can help or recommend anything!!!

when i have major flakiness problems i either use a face scrub or a peel (i use a natural one).

hey chantelle, retroviolet is right, try a scrub, a very gentle one.

i also recommend using a cream based cleanser in the winter, and concentrating on the flaky areas with a soft washcloth and the cleanser. i has very flaky nose skin while i was on roaccutane, and when im sick... this works for me!

Try an exfoliator maybe also.. it could be dead skin cells that just need to be scrubbed away (gently) using an exfoliator.

Sometimes on extra dry spots of my face I also just put some vaseline over it.. the vaseline works great on extra dry or flaky spots.

A little bit of vaseline around the nose at night will do wonders!
