I’m just wondering if it is better to use natural/botanical products/brands (Jurlique, Dr Hauschka, Skyn Iceland etc.) or more cosmeceutical ones (Dr. Brandt, Perricone M.D., Freeze 24/7) for anti-aging??

I’m starting to think about buying some anti-aging face products

Right now I just have my anti-wrinkle sunscreen...

Is one more effective than the other?? Do you guys have a preference? Or do natural-botanical products actually work better?? Thank youuuu!

to be perfectly honest my skin care regime product selection is all over the map, but it works for me. my suggestion is to introduce new products one at a time to see if they'll work for you. i wouldn't switch to all new products at the same time. if you have problem you don't know which product is the culprit. i use some high end products, some drug store products and even some grocery store products (acv) in my regime. i tried the eye cream from skyn iceland ($45) and it didn't do a thing for me! i like the no puffery eye gel from origins and it only cost $20. every persons skin performs alittle differently and you have to find out what works for you! good luck and keep us posted!

I think what's important is not so much the brand as the active ingredients in the product. Not all natural/botanical products are effective, same for cosmeceutical ones. I would look for ingredients that are known to perform rather than a particular brand.

I have the best of both worlds. Our re9 line is made of botanicles that work the best and at the same time our company steers clear of harsh chemicals, petro duraritives, and animal by-products. They do RIPT patch testing and nothing is sent out unless it works.

I used to have a product graveyard and can tell you that untill I went the more botanical route I did not see results that I was happy with. To me personally the less chemicals the better. I do not go organic though. I am picky.

I agree with Monnie about everyone's skin working/performing differently. Unfortunately, skin care isn't a "What's good for the goose is good for the gander" type of things. Just because one product works for Sally Sue to your left, doesn't mean it'll work on you, and vice versa. Best of luck finding some good anti-aging products though sweetie

I agree, everyone's skin reacts differently. Lately I've really been watching my ingrediants though and have found better results staying away from chemicals and such.
Guys...do this test, take a clove of garlic and stick it between your toes, I promise 15 minutes later you'll taste it....so that says, what we put on our skin, goes into our skin and into our bloodstreams....SCARY!!! Think about it, with all the products out there, no wonder we have so many problems.
