I'm going broke trying all these brands which is probably half my problem. My skin is oily in t-zone but peeling right now cause of the cold but normally oily t-zone , normal everywhere else. Whats a good skincare line with antioxidants to fight aging even though i'm only 36 and look 20 I want it to stay that way. I've tried Estee Lauder and they sold me the stuff for oily skin which dried me out. I may be able to use it in the humid siummer months but any recs?

The Body Shop makes some very good skin care lines that are reasonably priced. I, personally, like the Vitamin C line. It's really brightened up my skin.

For high end ..I like Philosophy's skin care. Hope in jar is a great facial moisturizer..that never feels greasy or dry...For lower end..Oil of Olay has some really good products....

It's not cheap, cheap but I really like Dermalogica cleansers especially the Dermal Clay Cleanser and Anti Bac Skin wash- it's really cleared up my oily bits, although i'd only use the anti bac skin wash if professionally recommended or if you have very oily, acne prone skin as it can be quite strong!

The Dermal Clay can be used as a mask or cleanser and works really well with their Daily Microexfoilant- my mums 44 this year and loves it! Plus samples are really easy to come by to 'try before you buy'

I'd also recommend Caudalie for their serums, eye creams etc and Dr Lewinns Private Formula

hi amynyc,

it sounds like we have similar skin types! I'm also oily in T-zone and dry and flaky in the cheek area during the winter months. but super-oily in the summer....

right now, I'm using Philosophy's purity made simple, which is really great because it cleanses without stripping the skin dry.

I also like Miss Lauren's suggestion of the dermal clay cleanser by Dermalogica. I've used this one and like it alot, but it's a bit drying for me right now at this time of year.

I'll probably go back to it in the summer when my skin's freaking out because of the humidity!
