Dear LORD, my face is awkward, but my forehead seriously takes the cake.

Okay, so I'm used to thinking that my skin is combo normal/oily, because my t-zone is (GENERALLY!) quite greasy, and that's mostly where I break out, whilst my cheeks are fairly normal. HOWEVER! Whenever I start using products that actually have some effect on my breakouts (atm, that happens to be Clinique's set for normal/oily skin), my forehead becomes disgusting! It gets v. dry and the skin looks really...scaly? (I did take a photo, but it's foul, so I'm going to abstain from posting it.

) I use Simple Light Hydrating Moisturiser at night, and usually Garnier Pure A in the morning, but the problem is that by the end of the day my forehead is totally greasy again!

Gahhhhh, what should I do?! I know the ingredients in the anti-acne products I use are probably too strong (hence the dry skin), but I would hate to go back to greasy skin and breakouts 24/7!

i only tried the garnier pure (the version without the A i mean) moisturizer, and i was breaking out, and i also noticed my pores were clogging with that product. i figured out the moisturizer was guilty and threw it to the garbage. honestly in my opinion, Garnier has not the best products for oily skins, i always found their products either too harsh or not enough.

i would suggest you try something else instead of your garnier moisturizer. maybe coconut oil ? and also check the products from neutrogena, they're better IMO.

also make sure you use a sunscreen, it does help. for your pimples, i suggest a drop of essential oil on the pimple, tea tree, lavender, lemon, grapefruit (those last two being phototoxic, you will need to wear a sunscreen after).

I've never tried Garnier products so I can't help you there. But ditto to Neutrogena. They're supposed to be good. Also, maybe try some oil blotting sheets for your forehead. I use some from the Body Shop, but I know Clean and Clear makes some cheaper also.
