Well today was the first time i sunbathed and iv gone so brown already, but i never used suncreen!!! i havent got a clue about spf or anything iv never used sunscreen in my life. Iv also started using avon clinical 2 step facial peel and im quessing im making my skin even worse by not protecting it while using this. So my question is what spf should i use? could you recommend a good product? or would a mosituriser containing spf be good enough or do i have to buy a seperate sunscreen and mix it in my moisturiser?

Make sure you use spf 15 or more, espically because your useing a peel.. your skin will be more vunerable in the sun. Don't worry about spending loads of money on sunscreen, I got a sensitive skin spf 25 for only £3.00 from Tesco's lol and its really good

. Ill make sure i use one higher than spf 15 as im using the peel, whats the highest you can go?

I think the highest is usually the baby sunscreens which go up to spf 50.

I recently read an SPF of at least 30 is great, but it seems like 15 is about the most a lot of companies have... I learned from the Oil of Olay site, and Paula's Choice that using both an SPF and a foundation/TM w/ SPF doesn't double the SPF factor. It may assist it in lasting longer, but it doesn't mean more. What'll happen is if you use an SPF30 sunscreen and an SPF15 foundation, you should receive the max SPF protection you have on, and it may last an hour or so longer w/ the extra. Did that just make sense?

The Neutrogena Dry Touch sunblock with SPF 55 is very nice. I highly recommend it.

I have a SPF 60 sunscreen.

But I once heard a SPF 30 is more than enough, as long as you apply it correctly.
