So I have a problem with my skin care routine. I've been using Suki balancing toner for 2 years now and it has worked good for me. But now it's kinda hard to get it and it has become very expensive (over 30 euro plus shipping) so I wanna try to find a cheaper alternative if possible! My skin is combination, sensitive, gets red easily and acne prone.

Here are the ingredients of the toner:

organic roses (rosa centifolia) infused in purified, filtered water (agua), organic concentrated aloe vera (aloe barbadensis), organic rose (rosa canina), lavender (lavandula angustifolia), calendula (calendula officinalis) & chamomile (anthemis nobilis) extracts, natural vitamin C polypeptide liposomes, standardized white willow bark extract (salix alba), organic seaweed extract (algae), aroma (pure premium steam distilled essential oil)

Anyone has any idea what product would be similar? Or maybe multiple products that I could combine? I'm not sure which of these ingredients are most important for my skin type...probably white willow bark extract...and the soothing ingredients...

edit: I should probably mentioned I bought Oy! Foaming Anti-bac Face Wash because it contains white willow bark but it's making my skin very oily so I don't think it's very good D:

So I hope someone knows something better...

Hi hi, I'm no pro regarding skin care, but I know that Cetaphil is a brand geared toward people with sensitive skin.  My friend also has sensitive combination skin that is prone to redness and acne and she has been using Cetaphil for years and loves it.  She uses nothing different.  I'm not quite sure they have a toner, but you can shop around and see.  I hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply! I've heard about Cetaphil at acne.org forums but the reviews are so mixed. And I think I can only get it online...so I'm not sure...

How about any gentle products with white willow bark?

I think you should be looking for something that contains salicylic acid.  White willow bark contains salicin which has properties that are similar - its the original asperin.

Do you know any good products with it?

Burt's Bees has an all-natural cleanser that has salicylic acid in it. I also second Cetaphil though, it's really helped me a lot with my acne. I used to use Burt's Bees and it worked really well, I believe Allure even gave it an award, until a friend of mine that's a MUA recommended Cetaphil.

Thanks I'll see if I can get it :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

So while I was waiting for suggestions, I was forced to try Oy! Foaming Anti-bac Face Wash again because I had nothing else to use. But this time I've been washing it off unlike it states in the instructions (they say to wipe it off or leave it on). Now my skin isn't getting oily! I've been using it for 4 days so far. So maybe this will do :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />...and no pimple attacks yet!

I'll try cetaphil when I run out of this or if my skin begins to act weirdly.

My daughter has used this before and likes it  alot!!!!

Sounds interesting! I might try it because looks like I've cursed myself by saying that face wash is good because this morning I woke up with some tiny white pimples on my left cheek D:...I think I got a reaction...

btw is it possible I have a reaction with tea tree? I remember 2 years ago I tried something with tea tree from the body shop and it was a mess (my skin got incredibly oily and I got many pimples whch went away when I stopped using it). And now this face wash also contains tea tree and I'm getting tiny pimples. The Suki toner doesn't have tea tree and it's good. So maybe I should avoid tea tree? So weird because it's supposed to fight pimples, not cause them...

jackson sage botanics doesn't ship international and they don't seem to be in online stores that do. So I don't think I'll be able to try it :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I think I'll just shell out the money and buy the Suki toner one more time and then I'll have 6 months to find a replacement. I'm sick of my skin being angry. Feel free to keep recommending stuff! I appreciate any suggestions :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I received the new toner but I'm really baffled! The ingredients are very different! o_____O wth

- my old Suki toner
organic roses (rosa centifolia) infused in purified, filtered water (agua), organic concentrated aloe vera (aloe barbadensis), organic rose (rosa canina), lavender (lavandula angustifolia), calendula (calendula officinalis) & chamomile (anthemis nobilis) extracts, natural vitamin C polypeptide liposomes, standardized white willow bark extract (salix alba), organic seaweed extract (algae), aroma (pure premium steam distilled essential oil)

- my new Suki toner (the one I just bought)
rosa damascena (rose) flower distillate, alcohol denat, salix alba (willow) bark extract, glycerin, calendula officinalis (calendula) flower extract, chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flower extract, rosa canina (rose hips) fruit extract, ascophyllum nodosum (seaweed) extract, hydrogenated phosphatidylcholine, cholesterol, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, steam-distilled essential oils (fragrance), linalool

It has cholesterol??? Can someone explain this to me? The ingredients are so fishy! I can't believe this.
