Today I woke up and my left cheek is so itchy and red. It doesn't have distinct bumps, but it looks like I slept with my left cheek on the carpet. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I bought a new cleanser last week, and I've been using it for a week with no problems. That could be the culprit, so I'll stop using it. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and what caused it.

Could it be a spider bite or something? Did you change laundry soap?

No new laundry soap. I don't think it's a spider bite. My right cheek is a little itchy too, but nothing like my left cheek.

I have a feeling it's the essential oils in Philosophy's Purity. Hopefully it goes away once I stop using it.

This is pretty much how I look right now

Thanks girls!

If it's only one cheek I would consider your cell or home phone. They are notorious for bacterial growth.

Sounds like a small allergic reaction. Stop using that stuff and see if it gets better.

But I don't think it fit my case because it's on the opposite cheek.

Thanks for your suggestions! It is less red today but still itchy!

This happened to me last year when I started using a new face cream. It was sooo itchy and only on one cheek. It didn't go away within a week so I visited my derm and she have me something that cleared it right up.

Try some aloe vera gel if it hasn't cleared up yet! It's great for that type of thing.

Yeah what jen or kathy said or any of the Aveeno anti itch proudcts are great..

Go to the dermatologist and do not try to diagnose yourself. Disinfect everything and change your pillow case and bedding. Use Lysol on everything and do not put any other beauty products on your skin until you see a doctor. It could be an allergy!
