Hello Ladies,

Perhaps someone has experienced this before and can tell me how to reverse the damage. I have extremely dry skin. I usually wash my face with EVOO or just plain water. Well I had this bright idea to wash my face with cosmetic liquid vitamin E oil. So I did. The next day I noticed a few tough/rough spots on my face. I looked at the Vit E bottle and it's 30,000 IU's!!!! SO now my face is in bad shape blotchy and a few leathery feeling spots.

ANy suggestions would be appreciated.

I would not place any chemicals on the skin. Try something soothing like pure aloe vera juice. Also, you might want to visit a dermatologist.

i would go with the aloe, or maybe try jojoba oil. i know you may not want to try another oil but jojoba is so close to the skins own sebum. it's very gentle and very healing

Sorry that happened.

Yes use Aloe and just give it time. it will heal eventually. This sounds similar to if someone burned their face using a glycolic acid peel. So just Aloe and also ice the spots where its rough.

I have been using the liquid vitamin e oil to take off eye,makeup..is this not a good idea?

Oh wow, I had never even thought of the concentrated oils being able to burn your skin! That's really scary. I'm glad the aloe worked though
