Heya!

My skin around my eyes is really suffering.. I think all the lotions and concealers I put on it to try and cover up my darkness is really having a affect on the skin. Atm its really red and peeling off on my right eye and the left is starting to do the same thing. I've took all my makeup of. I only wear some loose mineral makeup around my face but I have to put more around my eyes cos there so dark, it always tends to looked caked on. Should I just put the same amount of mineral powder all over my face instead of caking it up on my eyes?. I don't know what to do anymore its making me feel so low and the darkness and soar skin makes me look awful. :scared: Please help girls x

*hugs* .... sorri hun .... i don't know wut to recommend .... i have the same problem ...

... i hate how when i put concealer on ... it looks ...so ... horrible ... and flakey

:flowers: it's still early in the morning ... i'm sure when the girls wake up ...they'll have a reply 4 u .... maybe .... an eye cream might help moisterize your under eye area .... have u looked in the REviews?

I would like to get clinique all about eyes, but I'm just worried that it will make my skin worse because I've bought 'skin doctors circle clear' in the past and its made my skin go really soar and horrible (around my eyes).

i have the same problem. i use burts bees royal jelly eye cream at night. i love it and it works (so my eyes dont start itching all day long).

I'm not sure, but I say don't do anything to your eyes for a week. No concealer cream, no cream period. To cool your peepers down, cut a fresh cucumber and place over them. Then gently pat some avocado oil on the red areas. It sounds like maybe your skin needs a rest..?

Good Luck and feel better!

have you talked to a dermatologist about this? It seems like an ondgoing problem, and something that really bothers you- but keep in mind that we see out own flaws as much bigger and worse than others see them when they look at us! Maybe there is something a doctor could do or a product he/she could recommend.

Try using nothing but Burt's Bees Repair Serum with Attar of Rose around your eyes. Share one drop between both eyes. If the problem persists you should see a derm for sure. Minerals can be very drying; they were for me. When you heal you could use a concealer around your eyes and your mineral foundation on the rest of your face. Good luck, I hope you heal soon!

I agree, go to a dermatologist. And don't put anything on it at all. It seems like the skin is very sensitive right now and putting anything on it will just irriate it even more. A dermatologist will be able to tell you what's wrong, how to prevent it and prescribe something for it.
