Help!! Congested skin..

I have been having trouble with congested, acne prone skin. I am 43 and recently have been using DDF skin brightening cleanser along with a moisturizer. Sometime I will use the Philosophy mini peel pads. I also have a few dark spots that the DDF has seemed to help. But I can't seem to get my skin to appear, "smooth." Any suggestions would help. Thanks!!

Have you tried consulting a dermatologist? They may recommend microdermabrasion or a peel.
